VICE Undercover is a point & click narco-thriller set in an alternate 1980s Miami - where every choice matters. You play as undercover agent Vida, and for one hour per day, you're taking control over a cartel-run computer using Amigo OS, a fully-functional 1980-inspired operating system.

VICE UNDERCOVER

In an alternate 1980s Miami, the early inception of the world wide web allowed criminal empires, for the first time in history, to operate globally, in real-time, and remain open 24/7. The internet connected the world, but the dark web made crime widespread and virtually undetectable. Creating the golden age of the cartels.

WELCOME TO MIAMI

VICE Undercover is steeped in the unique 1980s Miami atmosphere, from the neon aesthetic, synth soundtracks, and homages to classic crime cinema and TV, to - the cocaine trade. But in this alternate Miami, advanced technology existed much earlier than in reality.

EXPLORE AN ICONIC 1980s COMPUTER SYSTEM

Inspired by true events, the VICE Undercover saga spans across 22 Chapters and over 20 hours of gameplay. Every character and organisation you come across have their own and independent backstory to discover.

BOOT UP AMIGO OS

The gameplay primarily takes place in a classic operating system reminiscent of Windows 3.1. Players can explore an 80’s-era operating system with over 15 fully working apps, including databases, police apps, illegal cartel apps, and a music player resembling the classic Winamp.

GATHER INTELLIGENCE

Explore and install new apps that take you deeper into the cartel network. Access confidential information, order hits, monitor security cameras, discover hidden crime networks, and make tough decisions that will put your morals to the test.

RETRO-SYNTHWAVE SOUNDTRACK

Experience a retro-synthwave soundtrack using the Calypso Player, inspired by Winamp Classic. Browse a library of fully licensed retro-synthwave tunes from iconic artists of the genre and including original tracks produced by famed producer LAU.
