Why Early Access?

“"Friend or Foe" has been released in early access to give the players, and the community, an opportunity to help make changes and improvements to the game. Since the game is made by a single developer, its crucial to have good communication between the community and the developer.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The goal is to bring it out of early access once the story is fully developed. At its current state, that could be roughly 11 to 12 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Before the game officially released in early access, the goal was to have the game completed at 50%. The Open World is purposely divided into two parts, to keep the player from entering an underdeveloped area. Therefore, the difference between the early access release, and the official release, will be that the early access will have limitations to how far you can travel in the world, whereas the goal for the "official release" is to fully remove those limitations, but at the same time also to offer a new experience with more depth to the main story.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Early access currently includes a single player, open world to explore and build on, and an opportunity for players to learn the history and lore, while also taking time to either hunt down animals for fun, or protect them and befriend them for benefits.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The devloper is planning to increase the price of the game, once it is out of early access, because more content will be added to the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The plan to involve the community in the development process will be to take into account every feedback received. Whether its bugs, cons or pros, or visual effects, every feedback will be noted down. There will be no promises that everything will be added, or changed, as players may have different desires on how for example the story should unfold, or preferences on other aspects of the game.
