Codemakers! is a FPS roguelike about trying to rebuild the universe with fragments of code. as you slash, shoot, and strategize through machines and being of pure corruption, you must find out the reason in it all, and what happened here in the first place. at the end, will you save them at all? will you ready when the real threat emerges?


Descend into the depths of the simulator protocol and retrieve the fragments by battling and solving your way through floors of discovery and corruption! each floor brings new hazards and new challenges, a perfect test of your skill!


Each enemy is a different battle! they all have their own sets of weaknesses and attack types that change how you can deal with them, some are even resistant or immune to some types of damage! they can also accidentally hit each other and set off environmental hazards like landmines, so be careful and beware the boomba!


As you play, you will gain access to a massive arsenal of weapons and items to crush, slash, impale, disintegrate, and explode your enemies! most guns have a roster of interesting mods that can change how they work completely, and some guns even have alternate modes, and items that might make you faster or even cause certain enemy types to fail! even melee that explode or can be thrown, or even active items that stop time or spawn airstrikes!


some more features include an expanding-with-the-story overworld, new areas, new shops, new people, and new quests will show up as you unlock things, and discover the mysterious, aptly named Mysterium Corp. who helps, for now... there is also an upcoming room designer, witch you can use to submit levels for our review, and who knows, they might become official! there will also be overworld side quests, that might not take you to custom areas, like the upcoming keeper of the shells quests, which will have you do different things with shotguns to unlock new ones, and it all ends with the shotgun to kill gods.
