Miksi Early Access?

The Ball 2 is a new game where I want to give the players the opportunity to help me shape the visions of the game. I want to build a community so the features i'm going to integrate will be what the players want.

I estimate the Game will be in Early Access for between 8 and 12 months, based on feedback and suggestions from my community.

Less bugs and better performance, much more levels and challenges and the things that the community wants!

At this point of time the game has a bunch of levels, challenges, online leaderboards, multiplayer and a Level editor with Steam Workshop support.


Bugs are likely to occur and with major updates there is a chance that saved maps will become incompatible.

The price will probably be a bit higher after the game is out of early access.

Players can suggest features and give me feedback on the Steam forum. My ears are open and i hope everyone can share their thoughts and help me shape this game.

Description

The Ball 2 is a 2.5D physics based game where you play as a Ball. The game is focused on speedrunning, all levels and challenges have online leaderboards and a replay system for your personal best and world records, so you can try to beat just yourself, your friends or even get the world record. Besides this you can also play against others in realtime in multiplayer or create your own levels in the integrated level editor or play ones made my other from the Steam Workshop!

While playing you can also unlock cosmetics and other things to customize your player.

Main Features

  • Online leaderboards, exact in game run timer and replay system

  • Online multiplayer with experimental support for playing workshop levels together

  • Unlockable cosmetics that you can find hidden in some levels or unlock in other ways

  • Many Steam achievements that can be unlocked

  • Level editor so you can build your own levels

  • Steam Workshop for uploading your levels!

  • Multiple game modes:

    • Normal levels (Puzzles, with some having hidden shortcuts for speedrunning)

    • Challenges

    • Endless runner where you can try to get the furthest 

    • Workshop levels
