Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to update the game with new chapters and levels over a 12-month period after Early Access version’s release. The official launch date will be determined accordingly by how much level and content we completed. Right now, it is expected that we could finish the entire envisioned game by the third quarter in 2024.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“There will be three chapters with full stories and missions in total, which will be updated gradually into the EA version, and there might be contents for new game plus and multiple playthroughs. We will also unlock sandbox mode and mod support in future updates.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“In the current version, players can experience some early-stage content, maps, bosses, weapons and armors, various loots and crafting materials. There is a smithy to forge and customize weapons and a storge system. At present, parts of the talent tree are open to players to tailor attributes and abilities to everyone’s own needs. Pair them with different weapons to create a unique playstyle.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Grimlord’s ambition is to offer a plenty amount of content for a fair price, more bang for the buck, in a sense. The game price right now is depended on our current production scale and workload of the game, but it may be adjusted moderately when the final version launched.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We love to listen to players' discussions and feedbacks on the game's level design, difficulty, art style and other aspects, we appreciate our community. We are ready, willing and able to make changes to let the game be the best version that it can be by value every suggestion and criticism with open arms and a humble attitude.
Regarding mod support, we also love to see players creating their own and share them with other players in the sandbox mode. We will bring those features to players in future updates.”
