“Early Access is a way for the community to shape the game and provide me with valuable feedback as development progresses. As a solo developer, testing a game like Gloomgrave without additional help would be incredibly time consuming and letting players be an important part of development from the start will only help make the game better. The ultimate goal is to make Gloomgrave balanced, bug-free, and above all - fun.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to keep Gloomgrave in early access for approximately 6 months but that number may change depending on player feedback and other factors.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Gloomgrave will have more areas, enemies, loot, and much more. The plan is to add more of everything you see in the Early Access version and improve/polish the game for full release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core gameplay loop is fully implemented and further development will mainly consist of adding additional content. The following features are included in Early Access:

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback has already been incredibly important throughout development as I post updates online, and it will continue to be important as Gloomgrave enters Early Access on Steam. The Discord server and Steam forums will be the main destinations for players to post their feedback.”
