'Cloudsea is a complex game with many interconnected mechanics and gameplay systems. We believe the best way to improve and expand it is through Early Access and player feedback.

As a small indie studio, we don’t have the luxury of spending months on market research so your feedback is incredibly valuable to us and will directly shape the future of the game.'

'We expect Cloudsea to remain in Early Access for several months. During this time, our focus will be on stabilizing the game, improving performance, and ensuring that save systems and content updates work reliably.'

Hoe gaat de volledige versie verschillen van de versie met vroegtijdige toegang?

'The full version is planned to include more content, such as additional airships, items, quests, enemies, and blueprints.

Throughout Early Access, we will continue expanding the game, balancing systems, polishing existing mechanics, and introducing new features where needed. We will also improve overall presentation, including text and localization.'

Wat is de huidige staat van de versie met vroegtijdige toegang?

'The game is fully playable and already offers several hours of gameplay. Most of the world is in place, though new islands, quests and content may be added over time.

Currently, the game features 4 playable ships (out of 5), around 30 explorable islands, approximately 25 closed levels (astral realms, caves, dungeons, houses, etc.), and about 350 items (including weapons, clothing, and miscellaneous loot). There are also around 10 enemy types (humanoids and animals), as well as several forts, and more. These numbers are approximate and may change with each update.

Some elements are still in progress, including placeholder animations, models, and unpolished audio. You may also encounter occasional bugs or grammatical errors.

Please note that future updates may require resetting or may break existing save files.'

The world has changed since the invention of airships thirty years ago. The steam-powered airships now fill the sky. Floating islands that were just a speck in the sky are now in reach. Find your way home from the unpredictable sea of clouds and the dangers it holds.
