Why Early Access?

“Creating the perfect recipe takes time, dedication, and patience. Now that we've worked hard on the key game mechanics, we need to gather feedback and continue testing to refine the experience and make the world of The Magical Mixture Mill even more alive. Your feedback will help us identify areas of improvement and offer valuable ideas. We'll implement what we reasonably can.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our crystal ball doesn't seem to work so we can't determine it exactly yet, but we’re aiming to have a release candidate for 2023. It’s sure that during this time we will be adding/working on more workstations, more ingredients and mixtures, more biomes, more side and main quests, and refining key features bringing on board feedback from our community.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access will contain the core mechanics of the game, but we expect to add new workstations, recipes, ingredients, and challenges to the game. We also want to make sure especially the overall narrative - told through quests - is deeper. We'll be constantly checking your feedback so there could be unexpected surprises too.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game’s core features and mood are there, we just need a pinch of this and a dash of that to improve the game as a whole. Players have all the tools to start their new alchemist adventure, upgrade the factory and learn the best mix & match for their customers. The potions cookbook is not yet complete, however, and some ingredients are missing. We also want to improve some areas of the game world, adding events and dangers.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We don’t know the amount of resources and content we will be able to implement: we’ll need to evaluate the work we’ll put through the Early Access process to make that decision - so price may increase when we release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Player feedback is essential to make the world of The Magical Mixture Mill ever more vibrant and full of life! We will gather opinions and suggestions from the community through the Steam forum and our Discord channel.”
