Pourquoi choisir l'accès anticipé ?

« While we feel the game is capable of offering fun gameplay already, we have not reached all of our development goals. Among our goals are some more gameplay features and a larger world. Since we are capable of delivering something playable though, we thought we would make it available to the public so we can start receiving feedback on how they would like development to proceed. »

Pendant combien de temps environ ce jeu sera-t-il en accès anticipé ?

« We expect to exit Early Access by the end of 2022. »

« Our near future goals include player classes (like wizard and knight), instanced/procedurally generated dungeons, player and NPC guilds and guild combat, scheduled guild raids, player parties, and an an even larger world. »

Quel est l'état actuel de la version en accès anticipé ?

« Currently it is possible to login, explore the fragments of the partially constructed city, visit a really spooky graveyard, fight some zombies and city guards. You can even gain some levels and apply stat points to build your character. »

Le prix du jeu sera-t-il différent pendant et après l'accès anticipé ?

« The game will always be free to play but there will eventually be subscription models offering non-advantageous rewards. Most are cosmetic in nature. »

« Odyssey has always been very community oriented, as it started as a small-scale MMORPG for about 100 players online at a time. Odyssey always drew on the community to assist with world building or to steer the process of development. We hope to foster the same kind of atmosphere and listen closely to what our players wish to see put into the game.

During Early Access, we encourage players to reach out to us via our Discord. We prefer discord because we like the feeling of close-knit communities that it fosters, and we wish to be very close to to our early supports. »

Explore a large 2D world in retro 90s pixel style, ally with or wage war against NPC and Human player Guilds, and craft the ultimate gear in this better-than-ever loving remake of the Odyssey Online Classic.

Since 1997, Odyssey has provided countless hours of fun. This labor of love by a former player is bringing the game into the 21st century, with better graphics, better lighting, a much larger, more immersive world, and deeper combat mechanics. From the character sprites to the buildings to the terrain, many improvements have been applied. We stand on the shoulders of giants: artwork and features from many previous Odyssey projects and spinoffs have been married to a no-hassle browser experience to provide the same classic experience in HD.

We have been working hard for 2 years on this title, and are proud to say there is a stable server up and world building is underway. The coding is nearly complete, and many of the features are fully functional. Please enjoy this Early Access to check out our progress.
