What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early access was chosen as a way to invite direct feedback from the community whilst the core systems, assets and engine technology are being actively changed. The goal is to use this period for refinement of those systems in order to reach our desired release date in 2027.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to have the game in Early Access for approximately 12 Months”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to release the Early Access release version with the core game mechanics and programmer quality assets in place. However; game mechanics and gameplay are subject to change with feedback provided by the community.

Early Access release is missing the following content:
- Final Art assets for players, teams, brands and organisations
- Final Scenes for the team house, travel, hotels and arenas

Early Access release is missing the following features:
- Final In game world interactions
- Final In game world persistence
- Final achievements and game stats

We aim to address the non-final and missing assets for the full release with our next art-pass. Until then we are using programmer-art and placeholders. All features are under constant development and subject to change.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Playable with placeholder and programmer artwork. Core game mechanics are also subject to change at any time. Users may experience bugs with our engine technology as this will be the first game distributing it across varied hardware.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price of ShotCaller 26 during early access, to reflect the increase in quality and new content.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“There is a ShotCaller discord community server where we have an open forum for players to submit feedback, ideas, mods, gameplay bugs and engine issues. Preferred methods of communication are via the ShotCaller 26 discord community server using the open-testing or early-access channels. We aim to run regular polls to gather feedback on gameplay modifications.”

About This Game

You're not a player. You're the one who built the team.

ShotCaller 26 is a deep Counter-Strike inspired esports-management sim. You take a five-man roster and an empty bank account and turn it into a brand and team at the top - winning silverware, courting sponsors, and managing five very human personalities who win, tilt, slump, and pop off depending on how you run the place.

The inbox is where you influence the scene. All decisions you make happen in your team house: a 3D gaming hub with all of the detail a manager needs: the roster, latest results, messaging and If you have merchandise - it is displayed on the wall proudly.

The inbox isn't just a menu - it's a core component of the game, where you leverage your team and experience against other brands, organisations and tournaments.

Tournament invites, sponsor offers, press requests, travel logistics, a coach flagging a player who needs work - it all lands as mail you actually reply to. Accept a Major invite, haggle a jersey-patch deal to the right number, book the team's flights and hotel, or wave off an editorial that wants a piece of your star. The org talks back, and you answer.

The world feels alive because of the local model driving your teams, players, brands and sponsors. They talk, negotiate, and react in character - no two conversations the same - and it all runs on your own machine, with nothing sent anywhere. It's on by default and core to how the org breathes; if you'd rather keep replies instant and canned, you can switch it off in the settings whenever you like.

"Sign them. Train them. Keep them in form. Call the shots."

Mature Content Description
