Why Early Access?

“I am a solo developer. While the foundation of the game is being built I think it is important to get feedback and ideas to make sure Dark Past reaches its highest potential and giving players a new experience each time they play.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Most likely will be early 2024 however due to the nature of adding features this could change.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I am looking to make detailed paranormal events with the ambition of trying to keep it fresh every time the player plays. There will be new maps and equipment and any other community feedback ideas could be implemented providing it is in scope.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“There are currently 7 maps, 8 pieces of equipment which is already expanding. The AI entity is random with it's behaviour which offers replayability and I will continue to focus this during development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will not change during early access however, upon release I plan to raise the price”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I want the community to be involved all the way through development. The community will be able to give ideas on what they desire the most and I could look into developing their idea to life. The community can give feedback by Steam discussions or by my Discord server”
