Why Early Access?

Early access gives us the opportunity to see how players respond to these mechanics and features, and has enabled us to use this information in the development of the final versions of our game.”

“Omi has been in development now for quite a long time, with development elongated due to COVID and receiving additional funding that allowed us to expand upon our scope. We're now in the final stretch of our development, and expect the game to release before the end of 2025.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full final release of Omi Oh My AI will fulfill a narrative arc that is only just getting started while the game is in early access. In addition to expanding upon and completing the story we want to tell, we also intend to add more music, accessibility features, and difficulty settings,”

“The full first act of Omi Oh My AI is available to play in the early access version, encompassing over 100 unique CAPTCHA themed puzzles and transmedia content.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We want to reward and encourage people to pick up Omi in early access to get to enjoy the interactivity of the developing story. As such, the game will be discounted until its full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We expect to be hearing from the community through the Steam forums to be taking on board reasonable requests for features that fall in line with our development goals. Omi's unique nature means the community will have the chance to influence the story and where it goes in the long term.”
