Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“During its early access phase, "First Steps" will undergo several months of refinement to ensure a polished and thoroughly satisfying gaming experience upon its official release. This carefully managed period grants me the opportunity to address any existing issues, diligently improve gameplay mechanics, and gradually bring the game to a standard that meets my utmost satisfaction. I estimate the official release of the game will come out in roughly 2 or 3 months, as that should provide the time required to add the finalizing details.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“As we embark on the early access phase, it is essential to recognize that the final vision for "First Steps" remains within our views and goals. Early access serves as a robust testing ground for refining the core elements of the game, ensuring their utmost stability and functionality. As we progress, we plan to try to add various new features and mechanics to the game to expand upon the foundation we have already created in the current build of the game. Our goal is to try to add additional maps, and playable classes to the game to expand what the game has to offer”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At its present state, "First Steps" embodies a fully operational third-person shooter, albeit with some minor areas that may require fine-tuning. Players can indulge in the thrill of selecting from three diverse game modes, each offering a unique and captivating experience. Moreover, the game is equipped with comprehensive online multiplayer support. Please refer to the "About this" section of the game page to see all of the features currently available in the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Rest assured that both versions of "First Steps" are committed to maintaining a free-to-play model throughout, ensuring equal accessibility for players during the early access phase and the official release. The decision to keep the game free remains unwavering, allowing all gaming enthusiasts to join this exciting journey without any financial barriers.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“My foremost intention is to actively gather feedback from the community during the early access phase. This input will allow me to more accurately develop "First Steps" in a way that satisfies both myself and the community by attempting to add/fix sections of the game based on community feedback. If sections of the game are unfun, or unbalanced, or if there is a popular idea people would like to see, that feedback would help guide the final changes to the game.
