Nigelopia Mini Mix is a retro-styled 2D platform action game that takes place on the island of Nigelopia, where the rules of life don't apply and the people are wild, crazy and fun!

This game here’s got a very rich amount of lore and dialogue that takes some presentational influence from Japanese anime! A cool original sountrack, too! You can play through a 10 level campaign as any of 4 quirky Nigelopian friends, all with unique dialogue and some unique abilities. Finish ‘em all, and the game will be 100 percent clear!

The game was patched after launch to address many crashes and improve it as well, but the core remains the same!

Honestly, Nigelopia Mini Mix is a simple game made mostly for me. Well, I should word that differently. Made for "us," the Nigelopian people!

Dark Paradise Nigelopia is a world perfectly optimized for the idiosyncrasies of my nervous system. It existed long before this game was made, in various other forms before we commited to making the imaginary game series in my head a reality in some form.

The reason the game is a 2D Action game is because I have weird taste and Mega Man is my favorite game series ever and is the national Nigelopian favorite, so the gameplay had to be loosely based on Mega Man to ensure it'd be a game we'd want to replay.

It's a personal world, and Mini Mix is a personal game. However, for some reason, I keep thinking it has enough charm to deserve an audience outside the Nigelopians themselves, so I keep sharing it with the internet. So it almost becomes like a vanity project.

I originally thought the game should be paid. "Everything in it is original," I said! "It took a lot of work to make," I said! "My IRL family thinks I'm a failure unless I make money," I said!

Turns out, NONE of that leads to a professional quality game that randoms will want to pay for. But it DOES lead to a game some people will be curious about trying and give a chance. So the game is now free forever. Ever since that change, some people actually play the darn thing. And some people actually like it. I guess.

I don't know what kind of further appeal or attention a game like this has or can get. The entire game's existence and structure is just me following my weird-ahh instincts, which are the instincts of the Nigelopian people.
