Why Early Access?

“As the game is being developed by one person alone and with little to no budget, some functionalities will take longer to be completed.

Since there are very few games like this currently available, user feedback will be essential to balance and modify the various mechanics of the game, especially during the first months of release, and to detect problems that might interfere with game stability and player QoL.

The final goal is to create a competitive game in the turn based genre, that can also be a perfect party game to play with your friends around a TV, and to build a community of passionate players which will be involved in the creation of future in-game content and in the fine tuning of the gameplay.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The full release ETA will depend on how well the game will perform in its early stage. Best case scenario would be to get to the full release by the end of 2025.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Some of the functionalities that still need to be implement are:

• Online multiplayer
  
• Ranked matchmaking
  
• Vehicles
  
• Buildings

User interface and general look and feel of the game will also be improved as development goes on.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The initial release has only the local multiplayer mode, compatible with Steam remote play together, for up to 8 players.

Base game mechanics are completed, but will need some balancing. In-game graphics are near to final, while User Interface might be revisited in later versions.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Game price will gradually increase as the game gets closer to final release, in order to reward early supporters of the project.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Wardudes players can find other people to play with in the early stages of the game in our Discord server.

Any feedback from early access players will be taken in consideration, with particular attention to game balancing and user interface related suggestions.
