Because handling, course design, difficulty, AI behavior, and overall game feel are such important parts of a racing game, player feedback can be especially valuable while those systems are still being refined.

We also want to be transparent about the fact that Splashback is still early in development. Early Access allows players who are excited about the concept to experience the game sooner, provide feedback, report issues, and help influence priorities as development continues.

Our goal is to use Early Access to improve the core experience, learn what resonates most with players, and steadily build Splashback into a more complete and polished racing game.»
