Why Early Access?

“We are releasing the game to early access to continue building our community while receiving feedback and gathering user analytics from our game. The game includes countless options for reaching the finish line, and as a small indie team, we may have missed bugs. We are gathering feedback on whether or not our game is too easy or difficult and making adjustments based on our community's wishes.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to release the full PCVR version of our game by the end of 2023.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We are working on a storyline that goes alongside the exploration and plan to include this in the final release. We also plan to incorporate additional features, such as collectibles and options to personalize your avatar and hub world.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The full map is available and playable from start to finish. Try our unique mechanics, like our running, archery, and shields. Leaderboards and timed runs are available. The game will continue to undergo optimization and polish of its different features to improve the player experience.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will be offered at a discounted price during Early Access, which will be increased once the full version goes live.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community can leave feedback on our Community hub on Steam or join our Discord channel for conversations with others in the community and our dev team. We will run periodic surveys and polls on Discord and on our social media channels about possible upcoming changes to the game.”

Venture's Gauntlet VR is a thrilling, immersive adventure game set in breathtaking landscapes. Test your stamina, accuracy, wit and reflexes as you navigate treacherous terrain, solve puzzles, and navigate obstacles.

We introduce our unique TrueMotionVR movement mechanic, allowing you to walk and run through our immersive and realistic landscapes. Grab a bow and arrow to shoot down targets, use a shield to dodge turrets, climbing walls and ropes, and swing across ravines! Explore vast and stunning environments such as open highlands, caves, cliff edges and a castle; each jam-packed with its own unique puzzles and challenges.

Get ready to embark on the adventure of a lifetime!

Please note currently for the best experience on Valve Index and HTC Vive. If possible, please set your openXR runtime within SteamVR to Oculus OpenXR (you can do this via the Oculus App). We are working on improving the Index experience through the SteamVR runtime and will have a patch out as soon as possible.
