Varför Early Access?

“I am a solo developer who has been working on Elemgate and learning game development over the passed 4 and half years with no external funding just a passion for games and now game development, the first 2 years i was working full time and learning as much as i could, 2 and half years working on Elemgate and I believe the game has a lot of challenging levels and could benefit from community feedback.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“I am estimating in the next 6 to 9 months, If development goes a little longer a year at most but this is depending on community feedback and what needs to be implemented to provide the best gaming experience in Elemgate.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“There will be more levels added to the game amount still to be determined and they will be using all the game mechanics from the previous 15 levels maybe a few new ones and be longer, each will be unique except the mirror stages, gates will have a randomized look but have the same shape and collisions so game-play doesn't change from each run.

A good possibility of online leader boards added once I work all that out, local leader boards are working, more balancing, timings and polishing to be done as well as the ending cinematics to be done once the amount of levels are confirmed/created and intro cinematic polish and would like to also polish / replace audio and also get some additional languages added in.

I would like to try update the project to UE5 again sometime but sadly the ball thingy kept getting stuck moving along platforms consistently and i had to jump to get unstuck all the time, now UE5 has had some updates I might try again sometime during the Early Access period but won't update unless it runs and plays better then the current version of the game.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“It is fully playable through 15 level and 150 stages with various element combinations to start of easier building up to level 15 where you will start using them all, you can practice any of the 150 stages or hunt for a hidden Easter egg one on each stage to earn an achievement for collecting all 10 in the level. It is still in a alpha but i have done a lot of work to get to the best playable version for early access.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“The game might be priced slightly higher upon full release, Elemgate will be discounted at early access launch and will be at it's cheapest during it's first week, it will go on discount here and there during the early access period but won't be that cheap again until sometime after the full release.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“I will take all suggestions into consideration and every idea given serious thought and make the best effort to accommodate the feedback and input the features.”
