Average4k is a rhythm game heavily inspired by games like StepMania (and it's many forks, like Etterna, Project Outfox, and more) with inspiration from NotITG, and other 4 key rhythm games. Average4k hopes to create a better way to play the game with friends, and allow you to customize the game however you want.

Play your favorite charts casually, or fight against others on the online leaderboard!

Ever want to play a chart from another game? No worries, you can simply drag'n'drop the chart folder over the game and it will automatically import the chart so you can play it.

Current supported chart formats:

• StepMania
  
• Osu! Mania
  
• Quaver

Average4K also lets you upload your own charts to the Steam Workshop, allowing the chart to gain an online leaderboard in which you can test your skills against your friends or other players of the game.

Host a lobby with your friends or join a random one and battle for the top score in real time!

Fight for the top score, toggle specific modifiers for everyone in the lobby to make it harder. Let everyone put maps into a pool and everyone gets to vote on which one they want to play! Or have a single host that picks for everyone. Tired of the same host? Enable host rotate and let everyone get a chance!

Create custom skins, and change everything about the game!

Change the menu to how you like, every graphic is changeable!

Change your playstyle, play with modifiers to make the game harder, or make it more readable for yourself!

Take reading a chart to a whole new level!

Create Modfiles in which you can move the arrows around the screen to create visually stunning effects, making reading the chart an entirely different experience!

Play these against your friends in multiplayer, and see who can read the arrows better!

Hey! I'm Kade, one of the two main developers for Average4k. Just popping in at the end to let you know that this very much is a work in progress description for this game, and will probably change in the future.

All of the features listed here are things we are 100% going to have in the game. A reminder that we are a 2-person job, and making a game from scratch is hard.
