Do you like shooting? Do you like computers? What if you could shoot people on your computer while looking at pictures of other computers?

RSOD is as cyberpunk as legally permissible. Everything glows or has a flat videogamey texture. Objects have sharp black outlines, like an anime. But this isn't a Chinese cartoon or even a Japanese cartoon, it's a moderately sized multicultural mess of polygons. Everything new is old. All the maps are honest geometry with 1:1 physics on almost every triangle.

THERE IS A STORY! (kinda)

I don't want to spoil the story, but it has guns, catgirls, zombies, VR (not real VR, unfortunately). There's a big war and you're sorta living in this weird place where people shoot each other for no reason.

YOU CAN SHOOT!

Grab your bright pink XM69 or some other goofy parody weapon and shoot some zombies, or catgirls, rednecks, or cyborgs. Hitscan, projectiles, ranged and melee. So many guns!

RPG STUFF!

Other games have cutscenes. You call that storytelling?! This game lets you talk to characters and read text. It also has a leveling system that partially works.

OTHER STUFF!

I had an AI write some ad copy, but then I scrapped it for integrity reasons not related to Steam store policy. To summarize what the AI thought about the game it never played, it's "swarming with enemies" and it has a "digital underworld" with "forbidden pleasure". Wow, that sounds fun! Maybe I'll add some AI hookers to the game if hits 7000 wishlists.
