About This Game

Flayl is a raid based survival extraction looter shooter with physics, built in Unreal Engine 5, protected from cheaters with a state of the art 99% success rate AI Anti Cheat. Setup your gear, join a raid, fight for your life against up to 50-100 other players & Kovaak's wildlife using weapons, skills/abilities, & physics.

Comedic voice lines, voip, & many dumb ways to die will have you cry laughing faster than watching your dog faceplant into the dirt in slow motion & losing it when you see them looking offended when you burst out laughing.

What is Pocket Sand Physics?

It's the combination of fine control directional melee swings (think mordhau, but easier to use & master) plus an intuitive & deep physics based balance system for your whole character. Add a healthy dose of ranged weaponry / Firearms & you have the core of what Flayl is. Whack the hell out of your opponents in weak spots (back of knees, ankles, back of head, etc) for a chance to trigger duration based ragdoll. The weapon you use also plays a factor in how this system works. You can quite literally kick some sand into an enemies face to unsteady them, & then hit them with an attack to potentially cause them to lose balance. Incapacitate your enemies in gruesome, ironic, comedic, & creative ways that even leave your dead enemies laughing in the grave. You thought you'd get the last laugh in? We view Pocket Sand Physics as the perfect complimentary gameplay system to our combat design approach. in depth fine control melee fighting mechanics, in depth shooting mechanics, as well as some active abilities & passive abilities will pair excellently in our vision. Incapacitate Enemies by knocking them out, breaking their bones, knocking them over, or disorienting them. All is fair in love & War, right?

Welcome to Kovaak

An alternate reality parallel universe to earth, that is recovering from a near extinction level bioweapon attack. The life that survived the virus was forever changed & evolved to hyper mutate. Altered at its genetic core, and oftentimes in horrifying ways.

An Ever Mutating World

Where Flora, Fauna, & even Humans have mutated from exposure to the bio attack. The theory is that the virus adapted to running low on host to infect. It altered itself to survive and feast on similar hosts in the genetic structure. After running low on humanoids it moved to native wildlife, first starting with mammals, then quickly moving its way down the tree of life, one by one eradicating or mutating whole species. Flayl will feature dynamic corruption and events that spreads across the planet.

AI Anti Cheat

Flayl is secured & protected from cheaters by Anybrain, which is a state of the art AI anti cheat that features a 99% success rate. In addition to Anybrain, Flayl will feature a Delayed Access Replay System for every deployment, which will have a built in reporting system, just in case the 1% chance someone is getting away with cheating isn’t enough for you.

Weapon Modding

Flayl will have a fairly wide range of weapon modding for creative freedom in gun designs, melee weapons, along with weapon mechanics to fine tune build your weapons how you like them with a mix of internal parts and attachments you can make any weapon truly your own.

Land Water and Air

Flayl features vehicles for land water, and air take your enemies out of the sky, off the ground or in the deep ocean while cave diving for loot.

Flayl features a large range of weapon types, ranging from Melee weapons to guns, to throwables & much more.

Crafting

Flayl features loads of crafting options, in raid and out of raid. From ammo, to tools to weapons, the possibilities are endless.

Simulated Projectiles

Flayl guns use simulated projectiles for performance reasons, but don't worry, they still have simulated ballistics. Flayl also utilizes physically accurate directional melee combat, that heavily changes and depends on the weapon you are using.

Directional Melee Combat

Flayl features a directional melee combat system, this tied in with our Pocket Sand Physics and physical based balance system offers a very unique and intriguing melee play style that it alone can compete with all other weapons in Flayl, including, but not limited to guns.

Character Progression

Flayl offers very diverse options for how you can play, and how you wish to build your character. With a mix of active & passive skill options, you can truly build your character how you want.

Consumables

Flayl features loads of consumables, from food and drink to stay alive, to injectors / medicines to enhance your player.

Utilities

Flayl offers many utilities to change the battlefield. From throwable explosives, remote detonated explosives, to bubble shields that block ranged attacks, and more.

Tons of Wildlife

Flayl features a large range of friendly to hostile mutated creatures, from ground creatures to flying creatures, to oceanic creatures.
