Why Early Access?

“We are building the Untamed Isles together with our community. To do this well, we want as many players playing as early as possible, so that we can collect feedback while the game is still at a stage where adjustments and changes are possible. Early access lets players get involved as soon as the core features of the game are ready, while still allowing the flexibility to continue to work on and expand the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We believe that a good MMORPG should never stop evolving and expanding. We will continuously develop Untamed Isles, adding more content every season. Our first season will last a year and will be what we consider to be Early access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Early access will start with the core gameplay loops and professions. Major expansions will be added as they become ready, some examples being the housing expansion and the Crystal Spire. Other expansions will include new islands, monsters, storylines, professions, dungeons, raids and more.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of the Early Access version has all of the core features and gameplay loops of Untamed Isles. Notable examples are Taming and Breeding monsters, Voice Proximity Chat, non-instanced combat, PvP, Wild PvP area and more.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not plan to change the price towards our launch. Community is the core of any great MMORPG. We want to welcome all players and believe that a big part of this is having a fair price of entry. We can and will always strive to keep the bar to entry as low as possible for new players joining our community.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We currently have several points of community involvement, largely driven through our Discord channel. We are always looking for more ways to involve the community to receive feedback and ideas so we can build Untamed Isles together to be the best game possible. We welcome all new players to join our community and to enjoy Untamed Isles together!
