Why Early Access?

“The game is already in a very enjoyable and polished state, it includes hours of fun and entertainment but surely we want to improve a lot more and best way to get influenced as a developer team is by the players themself. We want to know what VR players think about "Dark Invasion VR: Doomsday" and build up a Community to it.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to finish the game in around 2 and a half years, but we’ve decided to keep our schedule fairly flexible to get the best possible version of "Dark Invasion VR: Doomsday", so it could happen that the developing time could be advanced for the best of the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“First we are going to expand episode 1: "Bunker Doomsday", than we want to ad episode 2:"City of the Damned" and finally we plan to develop episode 3:"Intrude the Alien Ship".
Each episode comes with 20 maps, midi and end bosses.
We are planing to ad more, enemies, quests, story characters and weapons to the game.
Crafting and a skill system is also planed to be implemented.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current early access version of "Dark Invasion VR: Doomsday" includes 19 maps of the single player campaign of episode 1. You fight against zombies and mutants with a variety of guns and melee weapons. Most quests and story elements of episode 1 are also included already.
The game contains blood, gore, abusive words and a lot of horror elements.
Free locomotion with setting options for smooth turn or shift turn.
Atmospheric graphics and ambient 3d surround sound.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“With more content added to the game, the price could maybe rise a bit.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The "Dark invasion VR: Doomsday" team wants to involve the community within the Steam Community Hub, feel free to post your ideas and impressions, or even if you found a bug, to the Steam Community Hub. Here we can gather all ideas and discuss the game world and evolve step by step to the final release version of the game.”

About This Game

A immersive scary and brutal VR horror ego shooter with quests and guns! Experience the beginning of the Dark Invasion and prepare to survive the first episode of "Dark Invasion VR: Doomsday".

Let us introduce you to "Dark Invasion VR: Doomsday", a horror VR shooter with a story driven campaign and quests. Fight your way through zombies, monsters, mutants and aliens with the help of melee weapons, handguns, shotguns and rifles. Time to get violent!

You play as John Beggart, a member of a reconstruction team that is working inside of an old bunker that survived the 2nd world war.
John shivers as he enters the bunker and does not know that his world would soon fall over. He remembers how Karen got lost in that place of forsaken tales. They just wanted to play hide and seek in here but he never found her again...
Nobody was prepared for what happened next, as the city gets overrun by zombies, mutants and aliens.
As the apocalypse begins our hero is inside of the old bunker, he needs to fight his way through the underground basement and takes full force of violence against the undead army of the dark invasion!
Take control of the situation and fight as John in VR and manage to fulfill your quest to get out of that forsaken place.

We are plan to develop a episodic gameplay experience:

Episode 1: Bunker Doomsday is included into the current version. We plan to ad some more maps, quests, bosses and story elements into the next updates.
Episode 2: The Dead Peoples City. We plan and already work on a zombie overrun city with various locations, quests and story for the game.
Episode 3: The alien ship. We plan to ad episode 3 soon after we finished episode 2.

We plan, with later updates, to ad boss fights and midi boss fights to the game.

A violent and brutal VR ego shooter with story, zombies and quests is waiting for your audience.

We also plan to ad a bit later a skill system and customizable weapons, as well as many more improvements.
