About This Game

The year is 3001. After a plasma storm tears your ship apart, you are stranded on an alien world, Dylan-4.

The elements are the least of your worries, as a learning, dynamic enemy faction hunts you.

Set within the expansive Nebula Complex universe, this is not just a game of outlasting the elements; it is a story-driven fight for extraction. A planetary magnetic field has severed all communications, leaving you completely cut off from the rest of the solar system. Your only hope is to find a way to pierce the magnetic field.

INCLUDED IN EARLY ACCESS

Jump into the current build and experience the core foundation of Dylan-4's hostile ecosystem.

Survive Solo or Together

While Nebula Complex: Survival is built as a solo experience, you're free to team up with friends in co-op multiplayer out of the box. Share the tasks of resource gathering, coordinating base defense, and exploring the planet as a unit. Or brave the wilds solo!

A Dynamic, Expanding Enemy

The local flora and fauna are only part of the danger. The Natus Division, the solar system's most ruthless hostile force, has boots on the ground. This dynamic enemy faction of Mechanoids will actively patrol the map, build forward operating bases, and will launch coordinated sieges against your shelters if you are discovered.

Modular Base Construction

Survival requires shelter that can withstand the elements, and enemy assaults. Design and construct outposts using a modular building system. Snap together dedicated rooms, structural corridors, and utility modules to create a forward operating base of your own, without the clutter of placing smaller individual building pieces.

Tactile, Gear-Driven Inventory

Your carrying capacity and quick-access slots are defined entirely by the gear you wear. Equip backpacks to expand your main inventory space, strap on utility belts to unlock small-item hotbar slots, and use slings to keep your larger tools and firearms at the ready.

Two-Take Tech Progression

Forget standard tech trees. To advance your equipment, you must first scan remnants of local technology to synthesize your own designs. Additionally, you must analyze local alien materials at a molecular level to understand their composition and unlock their use in crafting.

THE ROAD TO 1.0 (UPCOMING FEATURES)

Nebula Complex: Survival is in active development. Throughout Early Access, the game will expand with massive, free content updates, including but not limited to:

  • Vehicular Exploration: Drive multiple distinct vehicles designed to traverse diverse terrains and biomes on Dylan-4, significantly extending your reach and hauling capacity.

  • Expanded Map & New Biomes: Venture deeper into the unknown as the playable area grows, introducing entirely new biomes, unique alien threats, and previously undiscovered resources.

  • Advanced Base Construction: A large expansion to the building system, adding new room types, utility pieces, and defensive structures to hold off the Mechanoid threat.

  • More Story & Lore: Discover the secrets of Dylan-4 and it's remnant resistance bases with extended narrative arcs, and the complete endgame sequence to finally escape the planet.

  • Evolving Natus Division: The enemy faction will grow smarter and deadlier, featuring entirely new Mechanoid unit types, advanced enemy base-building functionality, and deadlier tactics.
