Miksi Early Access?

We chose early access as the game does not yet include all desired elements our team set out for, along with wanting to get feedback from the community while developing the game.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

The current goal is to officially release sometime in Spring 2024, however this may change depending on community feedback and potentially adding new features during development.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The existing plan for the full version game includes 3 unique and different levels, the ability to choose 4 different characters, puzzles to solve, and a variety of gadgets to find and use on each level. This may change as the game goes through development.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The current state of the Early Access version contains 1 level, 2 playable characters, text and voice chat, and an achievable objective and basic enemy.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

There are plans to increase the price on full release, when new content and features are accessible.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

We intend to involve the community in our development process by listening to feedback, such as providing suggestions and alerting our team of bugs. Community members who regularly provide feedback will be given first access to new content and other perks. Feedback can be provided by joining the Discord server or on the Steam forums.

Chemical Games Studio releases its official debut title, a cooperative game taking familiar elements from some of the most prominent horror titles made in the last two decades. Go it alone in a memorable yet revitalized experience, or team up with friends for a twist on this classic jump-scare formula.

Brief

After receiving a strange text message, you've returned to your hometown in the Midwest. However, upon your arrival you hear an old high school friend has gone missing. What's even stranger is others who grew up and left the town came back receiving the same text. Work together to find the source of this message, and get to the bottom of this disappearance about your friend...

A combination of horrors, new and old

Combining both elements of modern horror games, such as cooperative play, in-game voice chat, and spectating with an old jump-scare formula, Scopaesthesia is a unique but familiar horror game. Try your hand at completing the objective alone or with friends, coupled with a few new twists along the way. But, an entity lurks in the shadows, and not everything is what it seems...

What awaits

From a simple collection objective to multi-layered puzzles, Scopaesthesia will have several characters, maps, items, and more. Brace yourself for the excitement and horror you are about to experience.
