“We chose early access as the game does not yet include all desired elements our team set out for, along with wanting to get feedback from the community while developing the game.”

“The current goal is to officially release sometime in Spring 2024, however this may change depending on community feedback and potentially adding new features during development.”

“The existing plan for the full version game includes 3 unique and different levels, the ability to choose 4 different characters, puzzles to solve, and a variety of gadgets to find and use on each level. This may change as the game goes through development.”

Brief

After receiving a strange text message, you've returned to your hometown in the Midwest. However, upon your arrival you hear an old high school friend has gone missing. What's even stranger is others who grew up and left the town came back receiving the same text. Work together to find the source of this message, and get to the bottom of this disappearance about your friend...

A combination of horrors, new and old

Combining both elements of modern horror games, such as cooperative play, in-game voice chat, and spectating with an old jump-scare formula, Scopaesthesia is a unique but familiar horror game. Try your hand at completing the objective alone or with friends, coupled with a few new twists along the way. But, an entity lurks in the shadows, and not everything is what it seems...
