"This is Rebellion’s first Early Access game. We chose this route for Speedball because we understand that the series has an existing, passionate fanbase and we wanted to make sure they are involved in the game’s development journey. We are looking forward to speaking with fans, seeing their reactions and building a game that everyone can be proud of."

"We expect Speedball to be in Early Access for around 12 months. However, this timeline may vary depending on community feedback to the features and content that are added during the Early Access period."

"The full version of Speedball will have far more content, game modes, and features than the Early Access version. Planned features include team management and draft system, player and manager progression, skill-based matchmaking and leaderboards, new cosmetics, skins and arenas and more. These will be added throughout the Early Access period in line with player feedback."

"The launch version of Speedball in Early Access includes the standard single player and multiplayer matches, both offline and online. Single player lets you hone your skills against AI opponents. Online multiplayer will let you play games of Speedball against other players from around the world, while offline play lets you take on a friend from the comfort of your own sofa."

"The purchase price of Speedball will increase in increments throughout the Early Access period as new content and features are added."

Once an underground sport reviled for its brutality, Speedball has risen to unprecedented heights of popularity and profitability.

It is the only sport that allows two cybernetically augmented teams to go head-to-head at levels of speed and violence beyond human limitations, where any moment could be a player’s last.

BRUTALITY

Listen to the roar of the crowd and the crunch of broken bones as you engage in a brutal match-up with visceral takedowns.

Sit back and watch as medbots drag your battered and beaten opponents out of the arena. It could be any player’s last match of Speedball!

SPEED

Whether playing singleplayer, online, or against a friend in couch play, Speedball is fast-paced, explosive and unpredictable. You will need to master high-speed passing, coordination and shooting if you’re to climb to the top of the underground world of Speedball.
