A Kungfu-Noir prison drama based on Buddhist myth. Plan the perfect escape, create your own unique fighting style, form an Asura gang, and defeat The Death that Follows herself in this rogue-like character-action game.

IMMORTAL combines freestyle combat with some of the fastest platforming you have ever seen. Freely express yourself and go from offense to defense while building up your flow combo. Style ranking is not just for show and will earn the all-important respect - the main and only currency inside the prison.

In this game you are IMMORTAL and have no health bar to worry about. To stay that way you have to manage your RISK gauge by switching between the fighting styles of Creator and Destroyer. Destroyer wields the Vajra - a divine weapon capable of taking the shape of Great Sword, Long Bow, Twin Blade and Chain Lance. Creator is using martial arts and able to summon and control the powers of Time, Space, Matter and Energy.

You are always in control and the limit to how you can combine your powers is up to your imagination.

Master the balance between them and play it safe or unleash the full destructive potential of each god by putting their immortality on the line.

If one of the gods takes full control their true power is UNLEASHED. 

In this state you can kill anything with a single button press, but any damage taken will be lethal as your immortality is forsaken.

Play with a friend and become Creator and Destroyer. Experience the world and story just as the two gods do. Learn to cooperate in combat, compete with your worldviews and influence choices. Instantly take turns controlling the main character, with each player having access to absolutely unique attacks, powers and dialogue choices. Hog control in combat and make too many choices without sharing will usually spell death. You will have to make sure to communicate and help each other in order to survive and escape. The game’s coop is fully drop-in drop-out without interrupting the game.

Immortal is all about finding your freedom and self-expression within its mechanics and choices. The story is about finding inner peace through the most extreme inner struggle. 

Go on an action-packed journey in this kungfu noir prison drama about a daring escape of two unlikely allies accused of the murder of Buddha himself. 

But escaping won’t be easy as a powerful asura assassin named “The Death that Follows” with very personal ties to both Creator and Destroyer is relentlessly hunting you. 

She knows that it’s only a matter of time before the walls of the prison cease being an obstacle for the immortal gods. Justice must be served and she will do it in the way she knows best - violent unceremonious death.

Gozanze, the Wisdom King of Time and Conqueror of the Three Realms has also suddenly appeared in the prison.

What is one of the four true kings of reality doing here and how is he involved in the mystery of Buddha’s murder? It will be up to you to figure out if he’s friend or foe, accept his help or antagonize him. With his control over time itself he might be a great help or a deadly adversary.

Making enemies or friends is up to you. Creator and Destroyer both have their ways of dealing with issues.

Execute your enemies or offer them a hand - both choices lead to unique rewards.

Executions grant access to more boons that empower you in combat and provide new ways to navigate the prison. Get a Long Bow and shoot the secret lever, or acquire the powers of Time and make sure you make it to that elusive floating platform revealing a shortcut or secret.

Forging alliances will give you access to new gang members that can help you in fights and future dialogue as well as boosting further playthroughs because the Asuras you recruit - retain their memories from past lives.

Be aware that former enemies might become allies and your allies might betray you if you don’t deserve their respect. Each of your gang members has a story to tell and is a bromance or fierce rivalry waiting to happen if you play your cards right. Explore and learn every secret of Buddha’s prison.
