What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We want to make sure everything is done right. We are a small team of 3 devs and before the full release we are looking for your opinion to know what was done well, what needs to be polished and what features we should add.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It depends on player feedback - what content, mechanics and features would you like to add to the game before the full release? As soon as we feel and hear from your feedback that the game is ready, it will be released to the full version.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add more maps, visual effects, customization items, more advanced core mechanics if needed. And there may be other things - please share your thoughts with us about what you would like to add to the game.

List of currently unavailable features:

  • Auto generation of visual effects according to music (beats).
The system is ready and now we are polishing it and working on the visual effects themselves.

  • Customization system of new elements (parts) for blade - trails, impact effects, etc.
Some new elements are already ready, but this is not enough for the necessary variety. The leveling and relationship between customization and the leveling system are done. That's why we just need to produce more customization materials.

  • Ability to choose and play on different maps
Our goal is to bring in a variety of maps in a variety of visual styles and settings. Currently WIP.

  • Various types of game modes.
Now only the game mode of the video player and the mode with a static camera are implemented. The game mode, in which your camera flies along different routes, has been logically improved, but maps are in development.

  • Built-in level editor where you can place notes as you wish manually in addition to (or without) automatically generated ones

  • The mechanics in which you switch between different maps during the game depends on the calm and dynamic moment of the song.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“All core game mechanics are ready and implemented. The game is completely ready to play, but not all the visuals and maps that we have in development have been implemented yet.

Here is a list of what has already been done:

  • Auto generation of level from your own music and video clips

  • Notes represented by responsive fluid simulation. You can interact with each note during the cutting

  • A list of default music in variety genres

  • Cool control of the blade by mouse only

  • Color customization system

  • Level progression system

  • Video player game mode where you can upload & play your own video clip

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“When the full release launches, the price will be slightly higher - it depends on the amount of content that will be added since the launch of Early Access, and interest in the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will be very grateful for your feedback! During development, we were able to make decisions about certain things, based mainly on our own opinion. That is why it is so important for us now to hear your community voices and continue to develop DREAMVIBE already based on our common vision.

Please use the Steam forum, reviews and comments under updates. Our contact email is also open to you. We follow all these places. The game has a survey form - it will be great if you manage to fill it out too!”
