Why Early Access?

“I have chosen to release Planet Omnia through Steam Early Access as I want to share my game with people as I work on it, and give them the opportunity to watch the game grow over time as it is developed.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to have this game in Early Access for 1 - 2 years, depending on how much time I can allocate to working in it outside of work. I plan to have it released in an Early Access state somewhere nearing the end of 2023.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For early access to plan to have all the base features in, such as collectibles, character customization, NPCs and puzzles, as well as a large world for the players to explore.

For the full release version, I plan to have many more types of collectibles, puzzles, and activities for players to do both alone and with friends, as well as expand the world with new themed areas.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of the project so far has multiplayer, collectibles, character customization, a large map to explore, and the early base of a puzzle system.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to slightly raise the price once the game comes out of early access, but not by much.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I plan to involve my community through events, testing phases, competitions and other events to allow those who are following the development process to have a part in the games development, such as special hats, or dedicated areas of the map to those who have been following for a long time.”
