Why Early Access?

“In order to craft the best possible experience for Sumo Seal players, as a solo developer it made a lot of sense for me to shape the experience based on community feedback. While Sumo Seals has enough content to stand on its own, Early Access will help me identify the key gameplay elements that players really enjoy to mold the game into the best version of itself.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Approximately 12 months, but depending on the amount of content to be built based on player feedback, it could be extended.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“This will very much rely on the feedback collected from players but currently the goal is for the full version to include:

• More modes & challenges
  
• More maps
  
• More quirky headgear and accessories
  
• Improvement to bots
  
• More accessibility options

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version currently has a good amount of modes and maps to keep players entertained for hours. It is recommended and best played with human players as the bots are still in a very rudimentary form.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will remain the same throughout Early Access with the possibility of increasing upon getting out of Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I am planning to setup a Discord server to keep the community engaged and give players ability to actively give feedback. I will also use game's Facebook page and Twitter to keep the community aware of the changes and updates and to keep the conversation going.”
