Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“There is no set timeframe for how long we will be in Early Access as it stands.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“

Alpha Phase: A single-player survival experience featuring PvE, a limited Norway map, the full Skye map with limited gameplay across both to begin with.
Beta Phase: Phase two will add basic Multiplayer (~10 or so players) to the game as well as continued gameplay, mechanic and performance updates and improvements.
Full Release: Vastly expanded core mechanics and new gameplay elements as well as a full narrative story.
Post Release: The continued addition of new mechanics, new game modes, maps and DLC content.

All of these features and phases are variable and planned features may change.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Basic core gameplay mechanics are already included. There are very early implementations of harvesting, mining, crafting, farming, hunting, sailing, trading and much more!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We have not got a complete answer here but there is a chance the price will increase before the final release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

About This Game

Skye: The Misty Isle is a hyper-realistic survival game set on the Isle of Skye during the Viking period. Washed ashore you will fight both the elements and the island's natural predators for survival in a bid to find out how you came to be upon its shores.

Eilean a' Cheò
Explore the entirety of Skyes rugged terrain in stunning size and detail, whilst battling the gruesome Scottish climate on the aptly named ‘Eilean a' Cheò’ - The Misty Isle.

Reap what you sow and hunt to survive
Prowl the lands and hunt deer, wolves, foxes and many more animals! Cultivate your crops and be rewarded with a bountiful harvest!

Gaze into the shields of the Valkyrie
Observe before your eyes as the skies burst with colour! The angels of death lead the brave fallen warriors to Valhalla. Survey the bright stars at night to find your way onwards.
