What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“During Early Access I’m planning to communicate with the players to improve my game. This early version may contain technical issues that I couldn’t find on my computer, but others could get them on theirs. Also after receiving critique from many people I will adjust the difficulty of the game or some story moments. Though the story campaign can be played from the beginning to the end in Early Access, I hope that Steam community can give me ideas on how to make my game even better.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The release of the full version of the game is planned for the end of 2022 or the first quarter of 2023.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Definite differences:
-Adding at least 1 extra game mode (not story mode).
-Adding a new difficulty that will affect many aspects of gameplay and change the feel of the game. It won’t just be a complicated game, but there will be a special mode with its own rules.
-Translation into several languages (French, German, Spanish and possibly others).
-Fewer technical problems.
-Full gamepad support.
-New rewards and achievements.
-New cutscenes will be added to the game, as well as additional endings.
-Ability to change FoV.
-New kinds of weapons.
-Game store. Not micro-transactions, you don’t buy in-game currency for real money. But as the game progresses, banknotes will be scattered on the locations, for which you will be able to purchase various weapons, glove colors, weapon skins, various additional materials and rewards.
A lot depends on the wishes and ideas from the game community, as well as on the success of the sales. I really love this game and would like to develop it for many years. Support for this game will not stop even if I start working on new projects. Therefore, if there are opportunities, various things can be added to the game, from new modes to a third-person view and a view from a fixed camera, like in the first survival horror games.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The story campaign of the game for both characters is fully complete and in Early Access version. I tried to polish the game on my own as much as possible, so that in Early Access you could get a full-fledged feeling of the game, as on the full release. You may not encounter bugs at all. Most players will not be able to ruin the experience, a good balance has been done in the game and most of the critical problems I know have been eliminated. It is recommended to always save game progress into different slots. If you suddenly encounter a critical bug that I didn't come across during the development, just load the previous saves and report the bug to the community. Also, compared to last year's Prologue, a huge amount of work has been done to optimize the game. Now the game should work 3-4 times better than before. Even on a PC with minimal requirements, a person will be able to play with good graphics by reading the setup guide.
Perhaps you will encounter some minor visual problems that do not affect the gameplay, and in general do not greatly affect the game experience.
It takes 15-20 hours to beat the game. The plot in this game wasn’t done for just a show, and it is extremely important. With each chapter you will see more and more interesting cutscenes in the form of comics and unravel the thread of the plot.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No. The price will stay the same.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I thoroughly read all the comments about the game and communicate with the players, both on and off Steam. I’m always ready to advise each person, answer questions, and take note of ideas and suggestions. There will be monitoring of reviews and bug reports, constant updates, support and patch-notes. The Discord server Eternal Evil is also open, where anyone can leave feedback and suggestions and follow the development process.
I am one of those developers who are ready for constant contact with their fans, because I am the same as you, a fan of great Survival-horror games. A fan who wants to give you a game equal to your favorite series. Did I succeed? It's up to you to decide.”
