YAARRGH! Battle Island! is a co-op pirate PvE survival crafting roguelite where every day is preparation for the siege to come.

Explore procedurally generated islands, gather and mine resources, process raw materials through interconnected crafting chains, build a fortified pirate stronghold, and prepare your crew before nightfall.

When darkness comes, escalating skeleton hordes attack everything you built.

By Day: Gather, Craft & Prepare

Daylight is your chance to prepare for the siege ahead.

Explore the island for timber, stone, iron, food, water, loot, and buried treasure. Bring what you find back to your stronghold and turn those raw resources into the materials, supplies, and defenses your crew needs.

Use specialised workstations to process resources, cook food, produce construction materials, and expand what your crew can build.

Every trip away from camp costs precious daylight.

What you gather and craft during the day determines what you have to defend yourself with at night.

🔨 Build Your Pirate Stronghold

Turn those crafted materials into a fortress before the skeletons arrive.

Build and expand with:

• Fortification walls

• Palisades

• Gates and gatehouses

• Defensive towers

• Stairs, ramps, ladders, and platforms

• Shelters and gazebos

• Storage structures

• Workstations

• Cooking stations

• Cannons

• Traps and defensive equipment

Choose where to build, reinforce weak points, create choke points, and shape your stronghold around the terrain.

There is no perfect fortress.

What you build during the day determines how well you survive the night.

🔨 Survival Crafting

Crafting is at the heart of every run.

Resources are not simply collected and spent. Raw materials move through interconnected crafting chains, with each stage producing materials needed for new recipes, structures, equipment, and supplies.

Turn trees into trunks and logs, then process timber into boards, planks, beams, palings, and firewood.

Mine and process stone and iron into construction and crafting materials. Cure hides into leather, cut leather into strips, produce rope, and gather food and water to keep your crew supplied.

Use specialised crafting stations including the Saw Horse, Saw Bench, Furnace, Leatherworking Bench, Rope-Making Machine, and Cooking Pot.

As your crafting network grows, so do your options for surviving the increasingly dangerous nights.

SURVIVAL TAKES MORE THAN WALLS

Your defenses are only part of staying alive.

Catch fish, prepare ingredients, collect water, gather fuel, and use your Cooking Pot to make Fish Stew that restores health.

Build the infrastructure needed to keep your crew supplied while still finding enough time to prepare your defenses.

Gather too little, craft the wrong materials, venture too far from camp, or leave your walls unfinished and night will expose every weakness.

SURVIVE THE SKELETON SIEGE

When night falls, the island fights back.

Skeleton hordes assault your stronghold in increasingly dangerous waves. Fight from the walls, defend breaches, protect important structures, and keep your defenses standing until morning.

As the nights progress, expect larger attacks, stronger enemies, and greater pressure on your fortifications.

Your walls can slow them down.

Your defenses can hold them back.

But if the stronghold falls, the skeletons come for your crew next.

⛏️ Dig, Mine & Unearth Resources

Not everything you need is waiting on the surface.

Explore the island for places to dig and mine. Extract stone and iron, uncover valuable resources, and search for buried treasure and loot hidden across the island.

The further you venture, the more daylight you sacrifice.

Do you keep mining for enough stone to finish another defensive wall?

Search for one more treasure chest?

Or head back before darkness arrives?

BUILD AND SURVIVE TOGETHER

Play solo or form a pirate crew with friends.

During the day, divide the work. One pirate can gather timber while another mines resources, processes materials, cooks supplies, or expands the fortifications.

When night comes, regroup and defend together.

Fight skeletons, protect key structures, cover breaches, reinforce weak points, revive fallen crewmates, and stop the enemy from overwhelming your stronghold.

What looked like an impressive fortress during daylight can become a desperate last line of defense after sunset.

The more dangerous the island becomes, the more teamwork matters.

Every run takes place on a procedurally generated island with different terrain, resources, treasures, and defensive opportunities.

Explore your surroundings, choose where to establish your stronghold, and adapt your gathering, crafting, and building strategy to the island you are given.

A great defensive position in one run may not exist in the next.

Every island changes how you prepare.
