Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to release the full version on 07.07.2022”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will have new interactions, items, outfits, building skins, with additional gameplay features added over time as well as a smoother and more evolved user interface. We plan to introduce features that will add more complexity to minigames and NPC behaviour. The in-game economy will also be slightly calibrated and more balanced.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Mageo is in what can be described as Open Beta phase.

The core loop and features are all in place. You can create and fully manage your avatar, conquer virtual islands and build the infrastructure for a fully accessible, virtual world. You can fight and capture monsters or hunt for treasures, do farming or mine resources, trade or make art. You can collect and craft items, create content and build your wealth. You can also create social posts, topics, or groups and easily communicate with other people. Build true friendship with your friends and grow your wealth at the same time. You can collect achievements or participate in challenges and programs -- or get involved in politics to achieve the ultimate goal, to climb the leaderboards and rule the world of Mageo.

Virtually all of the basic functionality is present and functional, but, for example, the ergonomics of the user interface are still under development and may be a little rough in some areas. During the early access phase we are still polishing the in-game economy based on user behaviors.

The stability of the application is very good, but we cannot rule out occasional bugs and crashes. We are vigilant and fix these as soon as possible. It occasionally happens that the application receives an update, or the servers undergo maintenance during which it is not possible to use Mageo for a few minutes (usually 2-5 minutes).

Most importantly. We guarantee the full persistence of your work and the development of your virtual properties. Everything you achieve and obtain in the Early Access phase will transfer over to the full version and all future versions.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No. Mageo is and will always be free.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Mageo is a next-generation product, directly designed for participation and community building. Feedback from our users is actively encouraged and can influence the final shape of a feature. We have integrated tools into Mageo that facilitate communication and allow active participation of participants on several levels.
