Why Early Access?

“While Final Pilot is fully playable right now, we want to provide the best experience possible for our players. We want to work with our players to improve networking, in-game systems and overall gameplay mechanics. Collaborating with our players will help guide us towards an official release that contains the content and improvements they want most.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our time in Early Access depends on player feedback and the amount of content our players want to see implemented. We will be in Early Access for at least 6 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add content such as an earned rewards system, match random events, improved buffs and abilities, team-based matchmaking and new and exciting gameplay mechanics.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Final Pilot is fully playable with dedicated multiplayer servers, global leaderboards, ship customization and an in-game store.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We're still experimenting with different revenue models, but we will try do everything we can to keep Final Pilot free to play. We would love to allow players to make charitable donations for in-game rewards. Helping others is an important part of our vision statement that we will always try to keep in mind when considering options for generating revenue.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“If you're passionate about Final Pilot and you're interested in sharing ideas about the game please join our Discord server! We're online 40+ hours a week and we always welcome feedback and suggestions from our players.”
