„Selaco is important to us, and judging by the fantastic reception from our demo, it's seems equally as important to many of you. Our goal is to create a game that offers a sense of familiarity while introducing unique twists and turns to its mechanics. Bold ideas come with risks, and to ensure that we stick the landing with our full release, we need to work together with our community and adapt based on feedback.”

„Selaco will remain in Early Access until all 3 chapters are finished and we feel satisfied with the overal quality of the game. We anticipate that each chapter will take between 12 to 18 months to finish. In-between the release of these chapters, we plan to actively update the Early Access build with additional polish, game modes, and bug fixes.

By our estimates, we expect to leave Early Access in late 2026.”

„We plan to release the game when all chapters have launched in addition to extra game modes like Incursions and the Randomizer Mode.”

„Our primary aim has always been to make the initial Early Access launch worth the price of admission by itself. As a result, the Early Access version boasts 30 maps (in comparison, the demo only had 3!), 11 fully upgradable weapons with customizable alternate fires for increased variety, more than 10 different enemy types, and the polish expected from a complete game. We're also making full open-source modding available right from the start, including guides on how to utilize our tools.”

We are fully committed to continue doing this after launch. Updates will not be exclusive to chapter launches either, there will be plenty of updates in-between to keep the game fresh. To ensure our players that the game is actively being worked on, we will be providing a monthly Development Blog to talk about what is happening!”

Selaco is a brand new original shooter inspired by classics, featuring thrilling action set pieces, destructibility, smart enemies and a fleshed out story taking place within an immersive game world. It draws inspiration heavily from F.E.A.R. in terms of action set pieces, while mixing exploration elements from Half-Life, along with some more modern features.

The story takes place during a violent invasion on Selaco, a massive space station sheltering the last refugees after Earth’s fall just a few years prior. You play as Dawn Collins, an ACE Security Captain who, with her recent promotion and high level security clearances, is digging deep into the truth behind Selaco's murky history. Before she can finish her investigation, Selaco is rocked by explosions and armed invaders.
