「Early Access allows us to receive as much player-oriented feedback as possible, giving us more than enough time to integrate it and ensure the best potential playing experience. With such an ambitious concept, any additional funding we receive through this will be pumped straight back into the game to make it everything we dream of and more.」

「The full version of Caught in Nowhere will contain every location, side story, and the entire, uninterrupted main story. This allows for a seamless, massive chance at exploration.」

「The first Early Access version will contain about 2-3 locations, as well as several side quests and sections of the full open world. Even at this reduced size, there is so much for the player to explore.」

「The Early Access version will be offered at a reduced price but will allow the player to continuously get new experiences as we put them into the game.」

「Being an independent game studio allows us to get as involved with the players as possible. We take all feedback very seriously and work hard to ensure that the players will have the best possible experience that we can deliver. Caught in Nowhere is a desolate world full of mystery.
Waking up in your house, you slowly realize the life around you has disappeared and you are alone. Each location holds a dark and horrible secret... but what connects them? Why are you the only one left to uncover them?

As you search for clues, you begin to realize that even though you may not be as alone as you thought.

The vast world of Caught in Nowhere (64 square kilometers/ 25 square miles) perfectly entwines gorgeous landscapes with haunted, terrifying locations. With an eclectic mix of destinations, players will be glued to their screens in an attempt to discover everything that the world has to offer.

Embracing the open world, the player is free to roam as they wish, tackling the scenarios in any order they desire. Slowly the pieces will fall into place, but no matter how you fit them in, the final picture can only be shown once you have them all...

Setting

You play in a 64 square kilometer (25 square miles) open world where you can discover and examine many different landscapes and locations. Each place hides its own secret and story that you need to uncover.

Story

You wake up in your house but everything seems different. While you are traveling in the world, you realize that you are apparently the only person. As you discover and explore places, you realize that you may not be as alone as you thought you were after all. Evil creatures lurk around the dark. Ghosts appear to you and you witness supernatural events. There is only one goal that drives you. You want to know what happened and why you are the only person in this cruel world.

Creatures & Ghosts

Being the only person in this world doesn't mean you're the only creature. Evil is waiting for you everywhere, you have to pay close attention to your surroundings and listen for noises in order to move safely through dark forests and deserted places. Any creature and any spirit can mean your death. Always be vigilant while you marvel at the beautiful landscapes.

Game mechanics

It is easy to get lost in a big world like this, so the player always has access to a map of the world of Caught in Nowhere for assistance. In addition, regardless of the story, you can save anytime and anywhere, as long as there is no creature or ghost around you. You will also discover ways to move faster and more safely through the world. Under certain circumstances, you will die more often. Since you cannot actively fight the creatures or ghosts, you have to be able to either move around cleverly or run fast and be able to hide.
