Miksi Early Access?

There are many things we want to do before officially launching Worship and intend to build those things with the feedback from the community. We intend to be very transparent about our intentions regarding EA so that’s why we’re choosing to make a roadmap that will lay down all the features and content we want before launching in 1.0.

Launching in Early Access allows us some amount of flexibility and gives us time to adjust to player feedback as we go. Hearing from the community will also help us direct our effort and shape Worship into a game people want to play and have interest in. That way, we’re able to put the game in the hands of our players sooner and prioritize development based on our community’s preferences.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We aim for 6 months of development before launching for full version.
However, depending on Worship’s level of success during the Early Access phase, we will take more time to develop it and shape it into the game we truly want it to be.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

We aim to push more content, more zones, more Gods, more gameplay phases and more overall gameplay variety for the full version. We also plan to rework the ending of the game . Our main focus for future updates will be metaprogression elements. We are also working on the coop multiplayer mode, which still needs a lot of polish and bugfixing before we deem it ready.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The game include two exploration phases, two bosses and a multitude of different encounters for a better replayability throughout your runs. There is currently 1 additional God to unlock. 40+ more unlockable upgrades.

At the early access release, we have disabled online multiplayer since it was too unstable and many bugs are still present. If you are looking to play Worship specifically for the online multiplayer aspect of the game, you should wait for a few updates that we'll need to get it in a playable state.

The singleplayer is stable and well polished at this state, but some minor bugs and performance issues remain that we are prioritizing.

Currently there is little meta progression, but we plan on adding this further down the line as it is our first priority after the Early Access launch.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

We consider increasing the price once 1.0 (full version) releases, but not during development in Early Access.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

We will be reading Steam forums, Steam reviews and interacting with the community through all of the development process. We want to focus our efforts into aspects of the game that the community likes, so we will be listening intently to such exchanges.

We prioritise interactions over our Discord server, on a day to day basis.
