Why Early Access?

“Deadeye Deepfake Simulacrum is a game about overcoming challenging missions in your own creative way! Feedback is crucial to making all playstyles viable and fun. Early Access will help to generate more feedback so I can further shape DDS into a game that caters to as many agents as possible (✿◕‿◕) User feedback will also help inform new side content being developed during the Early Access period.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The planned Early Access period will be 6 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“On the road to 1.0, I plan to add a handful of additional side quests with new characters, missions, and choices to make. Other planned features include include a roguelike mode, secret standalone missions, new character classes, and mechanical changes based on community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current build of DDS includes a completed main questline, infinite procedurally generated side missions, and a substantial amount of optional story content. The game may feature some small bugs and typos in Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will not be priced differently when leaving Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Deadeye Deepfake Simulacrum has many interlocking systems relating to combat, AI, hacking, stealth, player customization, and more! I will be using community feedback to refine all of these systems, in addition to adjusting gameplay balance and difficulty. Players will be able to submit feedback and ideas through Steam forums, the official Discord, and Twitter.”
