„At this stage of the game I'm confident you will enjoy Endothermic. However there are still many ideas and mechanics I plan to implement. I need feedback to help tune difficulty, balance and maximize fun potential! Endothermic is "finished" but still long ways from reaching it's true form.”

„The current plan is to fully release the game in Q3 2026. So roughly 6-8 months With that said, ultimately it will remain EA until I am happy with the quality of the game and player(s) reactions.”

„The main difference ultimately relies on the amount of in game content. I plan to deliver a truly amazing experience. This means a lot more content than the EA release. Full release I plan to include a plethora of new maps, enemies and most importantly new modes and any content that our initial playerbase suggests.

These are all planned and NOT set in stone. Please buy Endothermic based on what content it has now and not what is planned for later.”

Milyen állapotban van jelenleg a korai hozzáférésű verzió?

„The current EA version includes 3 maps, two modes and lots of variety in terms of enemies, weapons and items. Currently the main mode allows up to 4 players, about 8 enemy types to discover and plenty of weapon upgrades to utilize in your runs.

As you play Endothermic you will unlock information about each enemy type, weapon, item and map in your in-game Journal.”

„I do not plan on changing the price.”

Hogyan tervezitek bevonni a közösséget a fejlesztés folyamatába?

„The Community will be critical in the development process of this game. We all despise devs that don't listen and I strive to be the antithesis of that.I plan to watch Steam Discussions, carefully consider all Reviews as well as keep an eye on Discord channels.

At this point Endothermic could go in many different directions but feedback from the community will help me iterate and improve on key areas. I will also be looking at the Endothermic/Muttnik Discord where players can further voice their opinion as well as watching video gameplay on twitch, YouTube, TikTok etc. I may use your ideas for new items, maps, enemy types or even entire modes!”

A játékról

Endothermic is a 4 player online co-op horror game where you and your outpost crew must navigate through a frozen wasteland seething with frostbitten creatures. A supernatural being with heat-sensing abilities hunts you down. Survival wont be easy..

You must stick together and be useful to your team or you might be easy pickings. You are the prey but don't let that stop you from getting the job done.

  • Immersion First: With a focus on audio and a diegetic approach to HUD and Inventory, Endothermic focuses on world interaction.

  • Co-op multiplayer: Play alone or with a crew of up to 4 players.

  • Team Communication: 3D voice chat (VOIP) helps ground each player in the world, with realistic reverb, falloff and sound propagation. Proximity text chat can also be used in addition or as a replacement for VOIP

  • Distinctive monsters and Factions: The frozen wasteland seethes with many different types of creatures and supernatural entities but also contains Factions like the cultic "Embracers" who have embraced the cold and abandoned the ways of the old world. Each monster has it's own behavior type and abilities. You must learn the ins and outs of each of the once-human "Fimbuled" (frostbitten and cursed inhabitants of Valgrind). Learn their abilities and weaknesses and don't become a Fimbuled yourself.

  • Extremely ominous locations: Each location brings a new feeling. Some maps might require more planning, others require different playstyles. With random events the map can change drastically, Ultimately flipping the board for you and your teammates. It will take a lot of hard work, communication and brains to survive. 

  • Satisfying Combat: From rifles to bows, makeshift melee weapons to throwables, Endothermic has lots of ways of fighting your way to survival. Weapons can be found throughout each map and upgraded.
