Why Early Access?

“Into The Darkness VR is an ambitious, physics-driven game featuring a story campaign and Sandbox Mode - all in high-quality PCVR. Many key elements are already in development, and Early Access allows us to refine them based on your feedback. Over time, we will introduce new content, including Arcade Mode, which will bring additional mini-games. Achieving the highest quality takes time, and we believe that players provide the best ideas once they get familiar with the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We estimate around 12 months. However, our priority is to deliver the best possible experience, so the final timeline will depend on development progress and community feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full release will feature six story levels, an expanded Sandbox Mode, and the introduction of Arcade Mode with multiple mini-games. We’ll also add new gameplay mechanics, collectibles, and tools for easier gameplay recording. Additionally, we plan to improve performance, polish the overall experience, and enhance modding support once development is complete.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Early Access includes half of the planned story levels and the Sandbox Mode. Core mechanics - such as dismemberment, slow-motion, environmental scanning, advanced physics, and a variety of weapons are already implemented and playable. The game is in a stable state, but as with any Early Access title, minor bugs and areas for improvement may still exist.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the price will increase upon the full release. Early Access gives players the opportunity to get the game at a lower price while supporting its development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want the community to have a real impact on the game’s development! Your feedback on gameplay balance, new mechanics, and support for less common headsets is extremely valuable. You can share your thoughts on Steam forums and our Discord server - we’re eager to hear your ideas and implement the best ones!”

Become Agent Frank, a special agent sent on a delicate mission into the heart of a seemingly abandoned base where things aren’t what they seem at first glance. Equipped with state of the art technology, use your surroundings to your advantage, always making sure to check what may be lurking behind the corner.

Face many challenges while slowly learning the gruesome truth of just how far one can go to achieve immortality and gather the profits. Explore a grim view on the near future nested in technological advancement and AI research that have already started today, while fighting through hordes of androids using a variety of tools, weapons, or even just your hands if you feel brave enough to get the limbs flying.

Our game is being developed by a Vietnamese-Polish collaboration between a group of talented people dedicated to bringing you the best experience possible. Into the Darkness VR will be developed in early access to give us the opportunity to implement changes based on your feedback, and will contain a story mode, as well as an arcade mode for those who prefer a freer style of play.
