Miksi Early Access?

We want to deliver the best possible version of Dysterra and make a game that players truly enjoy. In order to do that, it’s crucial for us to reflect on user feedback and make any necessary changes before an official release.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

Our current plan is to have our full release ready in about 6 months to a year, fingers crossed.
The schedule may change, however, depending on user feedback received during early access.

We plan to add a lot more content both in the game, and through the lobby. New content will include equipment like guns and armor, new tools for crafting and base defense, new spaces added around the map, and new field bosses for players to challenge themselves with.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The key features of a survival game have all been implemented in our early access version. Dysterra supports both single and multiplayer (PvP, PvE), and we also offer custom servers. For now, we have one map with five landmarks. When players dominate landmarks, they will obtain a specific controller chip that can be used to either delay or accelerate the Terrafire eruption, our game’s version of a wipe.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

We have no plans to change the price during early access, but may change it upon official release of the game. Just like with everything else related to the game, we’ll reflect user opinions in our decision making as much as possible.

We mainly communicate with players through our Steam community and our official Discord channel. We have already received and implemented a large number of player opinions through these channels. We are also planning on experimenting with alternative websites and systems (surveys, etc.) to gather and organize player sentiment. We are known by our community as a very active developer that listens to our players.

Our FPS Sci-fi survival crafting PvP game is set on a post-apocalyptic Earth where humanity has been forced to live off-planet on a giant satellite named Orbis. You have been sent down to Earth to gather a mineral called Terrasite that is now humanity’s main source of energy.

In Dysterra, you must gather materials, build your base, craft weapons and items, and gather terrasite to power your base. Work together with other players to build a giant stronghold, or go solo and hunt down other players to work your way to the top of the rankings!

Control When Wipes Occur!

By attacking and conquering facilities (monuments), you gain the ability to extend or shorten the life of your server. Each server has a hard minimum(14 days) and maximum lifespan (30 days) to give everyone a chance to enjoy the server.

Customize your character!

Choose your characters face, skin color, hair style, hair color, and also the design of your machine arm!

Mine materials to build your base!

Mine metal, stone, and terrasite to craft your base, new armor and weapons, and to become the strongest survivor on the server.

Level Up to Acquire New Skills and Abilities!

Almost every action in Dysterra contributes to your skill level. Each skill point you acquire can be used to obtain extra HP, make health items more effective, gain the ability to glide in mid-air, and more! Skill points are reset when the server wipes, so you can use a different strategy to level up each time you join a new server!

Explore Dangerous Underground Areas

Ararat has a multitude of hidden areas for you to explore. Find keys to unlock bunkers, portals, loot rooms, and more to challenge yourself against new and exciting enemies!
