Sling Kings is a chess variant for gamers, and a video game for chess players. Climbing to the top will require clever tactics, but you'll also need to be quick on your feet and precise with your aim as you slingshot your spirit from piece to piece. Whether you're a seasoned chess veteran, or you don't even know the rules, Sling Kings is an action packed way for you to experience the classic game of strategy.

Exciting New Mechanics

Launch your spirit by dragging it out of a piece and releasing it. Once you've possessed a piece with your spirit, move it according to standard chess rules. Now that piece is on cooldown until you move your next piece; keep slinging to secure the win!




As you dive into Sling Kings, you'll quickly uncover the many strategic possibilities that these mechanics open up.

Spirits return to their king when they hit an enemy piece. Position your pieces to block critical shots, and bank your spirit off the wall to avoid being blocked yourself.



Make rapid consecutive moves to take pieces faster than your opponent can react.



All the while, keep your eyes on the board. Don't let your opponent surprise you with a discovered attack or a crazy fork! Keep the pressure up with a combination of precise slinging and quick thinking.
