What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The game is newly released and is my first. You can expect there are some bugs, feedback on these are welcome. I would also like to get early feedback on what features should be added in addition to the ones already planned.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“1 year”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to address any bugs identified by players, as well as add some additional features like better integration with Steam and the ability to create custom "house rules" in addition to the default ones available already. We may add in-game integration with voice chat software if desired by users.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is playable online, each game includes 52 cards, one player at a time selects a card from the circle and drops it in the middle on top of the King's Cup. Based on the card selected a player or players will have to take an action (generally leading to someone drinking). Actions typically happen in the real world or in a voice chat room. The game ends when the final King is pulled. Several "mini-games" exist for special cards like 7-is-heaven, which requires all players to press the up arrow (or w key) and the last player to do so loses. The game involves verbal communication after each card is pulled, so it is expected that players use voice chat software in parallel to the game to communicate. There is no in-game chat. See the "About Game" section for full details and controls.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Price may increase moderately when we release, I expect it will always be less than $10.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Reading reviews and email feedback (lin@linmeyer.net) will be our main community inputs. I will keep an eye out on any social media feedback as well, such as Reddit or other forums. There is no dedicated forum at this time.”
