About This Game

Paper Planet is a doodly planet-defender roguelike, with Flash-inspired visuals. Born from a love of my childhood favorite Flash games, and modern roguelikes I've sunk countless hours into. Weave through a bombardments of bullets, and survive long enough to build a completely busted arsenal of your own.

Face down waves of unique doodles, with increasingly difficult behaviors and varied attack patterns as each run progresses. Learn the distinct personalities of memorable bosses before overcoming their specialized combat mechanics. Switch things up by playing as different Planets - like the Plane Planet with its spaceborne turret, or the Prairie Planet that rescales with your health. Paper Planet is designed STAY interesting no matter how long you play it.

Items BUILT to synergize! Create massive swarms of bee-bullets, walls of electricity, or teleporting rocket bombs! Every item in Paper Planet is made to work with every other, creating a near infinite number of ridiculous combinations to discover! Whether you're chasing a high score, risking it all on an overpowered Cursed Item build, or hunting for new and unexpected item combinations - the bullet hell arcade gameplay will keep you on your toes. Play with friends in local co-op to really push the limits!

The wild, weird and experimental world of Flash games defined a generation of gamers. Paper Planet's hand-drawn visuals, cool and silly boss designs, and goofball sense of humor all pay homage to the messy creativity of that era. Look closely and you’ll find Flash game references, callbacks, and other surprises tucked throughout the universe. My heart still belongs to the golden age of Flash games, and we're thrilled to bring that wonderful energy to a new generation.
