Years of passion have gone into this game, and we’re counting on your involvement and feedback, both before, during, and after Early Access, to help make The Ranchers the best possible version of our original vision.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“A final date for the full release has not yet been decided, but we roughly expect the game to be in Early Access for six months. Our goal is to continue improving the game throughout Early Access, both through our planned milestones and the feedback we receive from you, so that the full release is something we can all appreciate and enjoy.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“While players will be able to experience the core gameplay and soul of The Ranchers during Early Access, we plan to make the full experience much richer. With a strong focus on expansion, exploration, and depth across our planned milestones, the full version is planned to place you in a larger, more feature-filled world.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of The Ranchers closely mirrors the demo version - you can read more about the features in the “About This Game” section. With a focus on extensive content and exploration, we plan to continue polishing performance throughout the entire Early Access period.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price slightly as we ship new content and features, while our goal still is to keep it accessible to as many people as possible.”

After many years of living the hectic city life, you finally decide to leave everything behind to buy your first lot of land in the country and start a new life, in the quiet, close to nature. However, your skills as a farmer will be put to the test to make your ranch a flourishing business and earn the villagers' respect and esteem.

Take care of animals, grow crops, claim resources, buy new lots of land, and much more. You'll have plenty of space to create the ranch of your dreams.

DEVELOP YOUR RANCH

Grab your trusty hammer and head over to your workbench! Gather basic resources and turn them into useful items such as fences, sprinklers, greenhouses, and much more. Transform your humble home into a thriving ranch!

MANAGE YOUR RANCH & TRADE WITH THE LOCALS

Managing a ranch can be expensive. Optimize your Ranch's resource consumption, sign water, electricity contracts, or build your water wells, wind turbines, and solar panels and sell your surplus to the village.

A well-tended ranch will produce the high quality crops you need to catch the attention of the villagers, fulfill daily orders, and sell your goods at the local markets for a decent profit to keep things running smoothly.

TAKE CARE OF ANIMALS

It wouldn't be a proper ranch without animals! Build barns and coops of all sizes, and invite little (and big) friends to join you. From chickens and bunnies to goats and cows, you can pick your favorites or try to collect at least one of each.


A BIG OPEN WORLD

Whether on foot, by bike, in a pickup truck, or in a fancy sports car, there is so much to explore. From markets and fashion boutiques to car dealerships, parks, or even a casino, it’s all waiting for you. But be mindful of the clock! Just like in real life, The Ranchers features both shifting seasons and a daily cycle, meaning you’ll need to plan your errands carefully while the stores are open.

BUILD THE HOUSE OF YOUR DREAMS

A simple studio-apartment or a multi-story house? It's really up to you. Build your home from scratch and decorate it as you please. Rancher, home builder AND designer? Not too shabby.

PLAY WITH FRIENDS

Friends - or happy little ranch hands? Invite up to 3 friends to join your ranch to experience rural life together. Here, they can either relax or explore. But let's be honest -  with a growing farm to manage, we’re sure you’ll find plenty of ways for them to lend a hand and offload some of that hard work at the ranch!

PLAY YOUR WAY

Are you a good citizen or living on the edge? In The Ranchers, actions can have consequences. Destroying, stealing or reckless driving may fall under the police’s radar, so be careful - or simply enjoy the rush of an action-packed getaway!
