Waarom vroegtijdige toegang?

'We are quite a small team and thus development may be slower then bigger studios , but having constant feedback will help us focus on what is most important from the communities point of view , and we strongly believe that communication is a key part of success thus making Desolace a fun and enjoyable experience for all that venture in this world . With this in mind we will proceed into the Early Access phase with our project , sharing updates and the direction of the game with the communities support in order to improve the experience and the completeness of the game .'

Hoelang blijft dit spel ongeveer in vroegtijdige toegang?

'We do plan to have the game in Early Access for about one year . However this depends on the feedback we get , as well as development progress . We hope to ship an official release as soon as possible .'

Hoe gaat de volledige versie verschillen van de versie met vroegtijdige toegang?

'For the full version of the game we plan to expand the world of Desolance with more enemies types and add more Biome diversity then what can be found the Early Access version as well as also include the Single Player Story component and all the changes made during the Early Access Phase . One more important thing to add here is that we also plan to include more gameplay modes besides what can be found in Early Access , but this will be announced at a later date .'

'The basic key features are mostly completed thus making the game have a minimum level completion and fun factor , more features and content will be added during the Early Access phase , but we feel that we have an enjoyable experience thus far . Some features that are in the game now are zed hordes , crafting , various cities to explore , build system , day night cycle , weather system and additional stuff that you will discover for your self .'

Zal het spel anders geprijsd worden tijdens en na vroegtijdige toegang?

'Pricing will change after the official release . However the price is not yet fixed for the full version , but will be raised when we will release the full version . We will share more on this closer to that date .'

Hoe zijn jullie van plan de community te betrekken bij het ontwikkelproces?

'We will use multiple mediums for this as we mentioned earlier communication and feedback are kings for a tailored fun and enjoyable experience for our players . Some of the mediums we will be using are Steam Discussions as well as Twitter , Discord , Facebook .'

Over dit spel

The Collapse. Or at least that’s what the survivors call it. A world-wide set of slow and systematic events that left society separated and in chaos. Hideous and restless abominations, victims of man’s despair to find a solution are now roaming the calm, desolate yet dangerous remains of the old world. But these are not the only dangers that you, lone survivor, will face.

Unfortunately, while man’s creations have fallen, buried beneath soil and the inevitable overtaking of nature, man’s very own nature survived, as well. Greed, selfishness, thirst for power and brutal survival leave their mark at every turn, over every hill, in every ash and dust filled home.

The world is in a dark place, and humanity must find a way to come together, rediscover it’s past, overcome it’s mistakes and build a bastion of hope in order to create a new tomorrow. Otherwise, the last ember of itself will fade away, leaving behind nothing but a road of desolace.

Will you be a survivor, making your way through the perils of this dangerous new world, discovering it's past and join forces with other survivors in order to find a cure and rebuild humanity? Or a Marauder, pillaging, killing, stealing, backstabbing and using every bit of advantage at your disposal in order to gain superiority over your enemies or even your fellow comrades, eventually leaving the world in a brutal, cold and dark state.
