Our experience has taught us that it's vital to get early feedback from our players to polish and refine our games. This applies to Silica even more so, as the game is being made by an external developer through our Bohemia Incubator program.

Silica continues to evolve in Early Access, and we're making steady progress toward a full release. Given the complexity and scope of upcoming features, we don’t have a specific release date yet, but we’ll keep the community updated as we get closer.

During Early Access, we plan to continue polishing the current game modes and adding more content, such as more combat units, and also to improve the gameplay as a whole.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The current Early Access version of Silica already offers the core experience — a mix of RTS and FPS gameplay. You can play as a Commander, building and managing your army while giving orders, or switch to direct control of any unit on the battlefield. It is also possible to fight solely as Infantry, leaving strategy to the AI. All three factions (Sol, Centauri, and Aliens) are included, each with unique units and playstyles. Both single-player and multiplayer matches are supported, so you can already experience the full range of gameplay modes.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

The price is expected to increase following Early Access, in line with the growing scope of content and features.

We actively gather feedback and engage with the community through multiple channels, including Discord, Steam Discussions, and our dedicated Feedback Tracker web app. Additionally, we utilize Steam Stats to collect anonymous analytics.
