In Pirates Republic, you are one of them. Arrive on the shores of Nassau with nothing and build your legend from the ground up - as a cunning captain, a feared raider, or a charismatic leader of the first free republic in the Western world.

Wash ashore with empty hands. Find food and shelter before nightfall. Build your first home, then an entire settlement. Construction works piece by piece - place walls, floors, roofs, and furniture however you want. Every building you raise is yours, shaped by your decisions and creativity.

Every playthrough generates a unique Caribbean. Resources, NPC settlements, traders, hideouts, and treasure locations are all procedurally placed across the map. No two games play the same way.

FEED YOUR CREW OR LOSE THEM

Every voyage needs planning. Cook meals, stock supplies, and count your calories - literally. The game tracks nutritional intake for you and your crew based on real caloric values. A varied diet keeps everyone sharp. Poor nutrition slows you down, weakens your fighters, and spreads disease. Run out of food at sea and scurvy will do what cannonballs couldn't. Preparing for a long expedition is half the battle.

BUILD YOUR FLEET FROM OVER 500 COMBINATIONS

Design your ships from the keel up using a modular building system. Hull shape, mast configuration, deck layout, oar capacity - every choice affects speed, durability, and combat performance. Combine parts to create over 500 unique vessel configurations, from nimble canoes to heavily armed frigates. Equip them with dozens of weapon types - from light swivel guns to devastating heavy cannons - and watch your choices matter in every broadside.

FIGHT ON DECK, ON LAND, AND AT SEA

Combat in Pirates Republic is brutal and personal. Board enemy ships and fight blade to blade with swords, axes, and improvised weapons. Draw your flintlock pistol or musket when you need to drop someone before they reach you. On the water, maneuver your ship into position and unleash devastating broadsides. Every engagement plays differently - whether you're dueling a rival captain on a burning deck or defending Nassau's walls against a full-scale naval assault.

LEAD A LIVING SETTLEMENT

Nassau grows with your Fame. Every NPC who arrives has a unique appearance, backstory, skills, and personality - all procedurally generated. Build relationships, recruit crews, romance allies, and manage a democratic society where your people expect fair shares and strong leadership. Fail them, and they'll maroon you on a desert island.

DEFEND WHAT YOU'VE BUILT

Plunder too aggressively and the royal fleets of England and Spain will come for you. Build fortifications, line the harbor with cannons, and rally your crew - because if the navy makes it ashore, it's over. Balance your ambitions against the ever-rising threat of retaliation.

PLAY YOUR WAY - SOLO OR CO-OP

Play alone with a dedicated story questline, or team up with up to 4 friends online. Divide roles - one steers the ship, another loads the cannons, while someone else manages the settlement back home. The Caribbean is vast enough for everyone.
